Ichiro Akuto, Chichibu's iconic master distiller and blender, travels the world to choose casks of whiskies from some of the best distilleries in the world. He then blends these 10-year-old malt and grain casks with his own Chichibu and Hanyu single malt whiskies and ages them for additional time, in various different casks, in Japan's accelerated ageing climate. Expect the Ichiro Akuto style of luscious, heady fruit aromas and rich, full-bodied flavours dominating the profile of this Oloroso Sherry finish single cask whisky.
