Rheingau Pinot Noir Trocken - Balthasar Ress

The 2022 Rheingau Pinot Noir dry presents itself in a bright cherry red with violet reflections in the glass. On the nose, sour cherry and red berries stand out at first, complemented by red apple and tobacco leaves. On the palate, the Pinot Noir shows a powerful fullness. Fresh fruity aromas of red pear, redcurrant, and some blueberry are paired with a pinch of cocoa. The finish is also lightly tannic, accompanied by a fine acidity and a delicate melt.
